I have 6 fans that I picked up at American Scienc and Surplus for about 1.75 each... they are silent. I used nylon bolts to attach to a sheet of acrylic. Linked, shrink wrapped all of the wires and connected a transformer. Mine have been running for about 2 years 24/7. works like a charm. Cost about $15 - 20 total...

Would it be true to say that the larger the fan the noisier it will be?

Where Online can you get fans for a good price?

Also, how much more water in a tank will evaporate due to the fans and how much of a Temperature drop can be expected?

Thanks in Advance

Man, sorry about that. It was a pain for me too. What makes it bad is that they are silent and push a good amount of air. It would have been perfect, except for that dang blasted clip!

Im thinking about cutting the screw side of the clip off, and gluing the flat side. That should work.. Maybe ever do a little DIY bracket.
DIY..ugh...
