Any word on Banded Longfin Basslets?

I keep looking and hoping that these guys will be in - I must pick some bad times to look

Is there a particular season for these guys? Thanks!

Great question. They are not really seasonal per say but the weather where they are collected plays a big part in their availability. It has been a really wet, wet season in the Central Pacific so not much long range collection has been going on. Right now there are cyclones over the S. Pacific which affects Fiji, Tonga, PNG directly but also affects the ocean conditions in the C. Pacific as well. Once we move further into the "dry" season, we'll see more of these little basslets available.

Awesome - I'm looking to get 6-8 of them to set up as brood stock. I've subscribed to when they come in so hopefully they will be sometime this summer
