Anybody ever seen this???????

I picked up a frag. After dipping it and putting it in the tank I noticed this. The area around it is white and it like a little arm that shoots out and turns to collect floating particles. It's so weird looking and moves really fast???? Anybody know?????

You can see it darting in and out of the hole. Should I pull the frag??

It looks like a barnacle or some such. Routine "hitchhiker". No need to pull the frag.

Some of my sps also have little filter feeders embedded in their skeleton. One time I saw a birdsnest colony with a straight up giant barnacle looking thing in the middle. Not harmful.
