The year we went, we took a cooler and a 2g container of fresh saltwater and just kept the corals in a cooler and changed a little bit of the water before we drove back to Phoenix. We bought stuff on Sat morning and didn't get back to Phoenix until Sunday afternoon.

RaP slotted some rooms at Ayres Hotel in Costa Mesa for pretty cheap so we're staying there. We have friends in Huntington Beach so we'll likely be in that area unless something else comes up. Pasadena is beautiful but sort of on the other side of the city -- feel free to join us at the beach.
