Im not a tang guy so I cant see the point -- Id rather have a 60inch TV brutha

the 57" works just fine lol

Seriously though, I wouldn't pay over a a coupel hundred dollars for ANY fish. Not a very wise investment unless you have money to blow.

But it is a very beautiful fish nonetheless:)

Here ya ...I'd rather check him out on my Sony XbR60 on Discovery HD -- I see Shark Week is coming up too. actually it reminds me that ive never seen any good reef dvds any1 recommend some?

They are actually pretty cool in real life. Very hardy--purple tang type hardiness. I'd think about it, except I've already got 2 desjardins and 2 purples--they'd make life hard on the newbie. 3 grand is a bit much. They'll go for less at the local retailers after they sit around a month or 2.

You guys might think you can get one for $2000 but actually try ordering and you'll prolly have to go on a waiting list.

my lfs actually has one in right now, ill see if i can trade in some xenia, ive got lots. ;-)

On Discovery HDTV a few months ago there was a show called Equator. It was awesome. I Tivo'd it and have watched it about ten times so far, mainly to study the species for my Indo-Pacific biotope. If you have the Discovery HDTV channel keep checking for it. They have to repeat it some day.

don't need to order it. Remember where I live Lawrence. Where do all the online retailers get there fish from?

wholesalers. they got 'em or they don't. No ordering. find out what they got in and work the locals for what you want. They still had a few laying around the wholesalers last week, albeit they went pretty fast.
