I'm looking to get some cheato or something that will help boost my pod population in my 75 gallon. I have a mandarin that got stuck in my aquaclear powerhead and I thought it was a goner! It was curled up in the hole, I took it and put it in a container and it was for all purposes, dead. Well my 16 year old daughter insisted on watching it to make sure it was dead and it moved. I said yea right! Well it started breathing and then swam! Despite the white spots on the side of him! I removed the aquaclear and it got stuck the next morning to my koralia! She called me frantically at work and unplugged it and he fell off. Well now a week later he is alive and swimming and has made a full recovery! He's on the skinny side and my daughter is concerned he doesn't have enough to eat. I am adding phytoplankton to my 75 gallon that has about 100 lbs of live rock in it to boost the pod population. Any other ideas? I just want to put her mind at ease that he is still eating (he's actively swimming and picking at the rocks) even though we don't see anything on the rocks. So if somebody in the area has some pod filled cheato I would love to get some to make sure he has enough. To her he's her miracle fish!
