You can get a octopus skimmer for close to that price. Check premium aquatics. They also have a few in the clearance. They have an ASM mini G for 75.00 and thats a good skimmer.

I would be concerned with both the pump and the impeller on that skimmer (ebay).

Keep hounding the used forums. Lower end Euro-reefs go for ~100-150

Looks like another member was nice enough to help me out in the skimmer department. Now I need a pump to run it, he used a rio 2100. Anybody have one to get rid of?
