Anybody Running an MP40 front to back in their reef?

I was wondering if anyone is running any MP40s from the back of the tank to the front. I have 4 MP40s with 2 on each end of my 180, and a bunch of Tunze nanos across the back wall.

I am wondering how this flow pattern would be running across a span of only 2 feet?

Any comments?

i run 3 x MP40 on the back of my 48", not on full ATM as frags are still quite small, you will need large grain sand or BB tho.

Yeah, I have a 24" cube so you could say anywhere I put it, its on the back! lol but yeah youll need coarse sand or bb which you have so you should be good! It works really well in my tank as the only flow device other than week return.

i have one on the side, one on the back, and a tunze 6080 that runs occasionally on the other side.
i like the random flow but it also depends on your rock work, i have two tall islands and the one front to back runs in the middle of them
