Anyone buy a buncha stuff but never end up using them

So I was just looking through all my reef equipment trying to find a heater for a nano tank and I couldn't believe how many things I have that I never even used let alone open.

Powerheads, heaters, food, medication, fans, water treatment things, water test kits, epoxy etc etc

LOL I'm so disorganized that I often end up buying something I alleady have because I can't find it at the time :eek1:

I never did find the heater, I'm pretty sure I threw it out though.
My thought process at the time was "Oh, i'm never going to setup a nano again since I have larger tanks", and "oh there like $5 so I'll just throw this out because I don't want to clean it".

LOL, I guess I forgot those little heaters cost about the same as big ones

I found 2 MH bulbs the other day that I still do not remember ever buying...Kind of sucks though because I do not use double ended bulbs anymore and thats what these are.

I know what you're saying.. the other day I was looking for something when I found an extra set of Tunze streams that's sitting in a bin collecting dust. I can't even remember where they came from (traded for some stuff w/ local reefer??) I threw one in the Brute so at least I can use it for mixing salt

I have Salifert test kits that are probably used once... they're just sitting there collecting dust also.

I am bad about the additives. Obviously one claims to be better than the other, so the sucker that I am I buy it only to find out from these knowledgeable people at RC that I don't need even have the stuff that I have purchased. Go figure!
