Anyone buy extra Wii systems?

I would like a Nintendo Wii, but if i'm going to get one it has to be in the next couple days as I don't have a lot of time to devote once classes start up again, so it wouldn't make it worth it for me to wait until after the holidays.

So, if anyone picked up any extras that they want to sell at cost to a fellow reefer, let me know. Or, if anyone intends to go out and buy one tomorrow, if you could grab two, that'd be sweet! I can pay cash, and can pick up within reasonable driving distance (w/in about 1 hour or 50 miles from Berkeley.)

I have no idea if places are getting them in tomorrow, but I understand it becomes a madhouse of people wanting them for their kids for x-mas, and I really don't want to camp out in 30 degree weather and fight angry parents for these.

Tomorrow morning they will have Wiis at the following stores: Target, Best Buy, Toys R Us, Gamestop, Circuit City. It is their final release before Christmas. People are already getting in line but I think if you go around 4-5am you will get one. I just picked up a Wii and PS3 last week. People are limited to 1 per person. I may go but it will be for a relative, sorry.

Yes, I just heard that Electronic Boutiques at Stonestown Mall in SF will have nine units for sale tomorrow - Sunday the 17th. Doors open to the mall at 7am and EB opens at 8am. Good luck !

I got one last week for my nephew. My kids tested it for him to make sure it was in good working order before we gave it away. I'll probably go out tomorrow and hope to get another one for us to keep. EB, GameStop and Target said they will be limiting one per customer. Target said they were handing out numbers before they open and people are waiting overnight. Really a fun system. The higher volume stores will be getting more units than the smaller ones. Just remember, hold on to the controller! The strap is not meant to make it act like a weapon to be swung around! You don't want a controller going through your fish tank!

hundreds in line at 7am this morning at Target and they said only 15 were available. I went to over to EB and the sign on the door says 6 available and 15 were already in line. Oh well.

We went to my brother's home who bought one last week and my 6 yr old daughter and 3 yr old son did not want to leave. If anyone comes across a place where they sell one for not more than the retail price, please let me know. thks, alan
