Anyone comming to the NCPARS Swap April 12th, but has not signed up ?

Hey guys,

I've never been to a swap and am thinking about making the drive over there for it. I have a few questions:

1. Generally speaking, how many frags would be for sales there?

2. Generally speaking, what price ranges would I expect to see for the frags?

3. Do I need to be there exactly at 10AM for it to be worth the trip?

Thanks... I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth the time, gas and entrance fee for the three hour drive.

Check out www.fragswapper.com and it will answer the first two questions pretty exact. Personally I think it would be worth the drive even if you got there after noon. It is as great time! Its a great chance to see some neat corals and learn some, while talking reefs and hanging out with some really cool people. Who knows, you may even make some good friends that live real close to ya!

I was on fragswapper and didn't find the frags available.

Where do I go to see the frags? Do I need to register first?

Once you get on fragswapper.com, you will see a list of events on the left hand side. Click on the one for NCPARS.

It will take you to the NCPARS fragswap page. One of the buttons on the top says "LISTINGS". If you click on that it will take you to the listings page. You can look for listings by clicking on the menus in the left hand column.

You do not have to register to see the listings. BUT you will have to register to request any item.

As I have been saying all along, its best to register and request the frags that you want. That way you get the good stuff before its gone. Also, there are always people with extra frags, and vendors with frags that are selling frags. So its never a waste to attend the frag swap even if you are not there at 10;00 AM.

Some people (like me for example) do not bring any frags that have not been requested by people on the fragswapper. But I am in the minority here.. most will bring extra frags.

Further, registering for the fragswap helps the planners in determining the space requirements, food requirements, etc.

So its really in the best interests of everyone to register early.

If you have any other questions or difficulty accessing the fragswapper post here and people can help you.

You do not HAVE to sign up to come. It just helps out in planning.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Well, this is the biggest ever NCPARS frag swap. Awesome... 124 registered attendees. Over 300 corals already sold/swapped.

As the date gets closer and your plans get finalized.... if you have not signed up please do.
