Anyone culturing rotifers?

I want to start a rotifer culture to get ready for banggai cardinal babies. Ive been doing quite a bit of reading, and think I understand how to keep a culture going. If anyone in the area is doing this already i'd love some advice and maybe even get live rotifers from you to start my culture.

baby banggi's come out large enought to eat baby brine shrimp. if you feed them within a couple hours of hatching thet are very good for the babies, i have succesfully raised babies like this.

baby brine shrimp are very easy to hatch, and about an hr before i would feed i put a couple drops of selcon into the baby brine shrimp batch for the babies.

i dont think you need to go through the troube of rotifers. and the babies grow so fast soon after you have them you want to introduce frozen foods as well..

that was my original plan, I've actually purchased baby brine shrimp eggs and one of those 2 liter bottle holders that holds it upside down and allows bubbles into it. I was reading in the breeding form that its much better for the fry to get rotifers at first, then BB's then try to get them onto something like cyclopeeze. Maybe ill just skip the rotifers and just try the BB's. thanks for the heads up!

Let me know if you still want/need rotifers down the line. I've got a live culture going. I could also give you some phyto to start a culture too. You''ll just need some f/2 fertilizer and a plankton sieve.
