Anyone did the Radion upgrade?

I have 2 gen1 and was thinking of upgrading to a gen2.
Planing to have a replacement g2 sent to me and sending my g1 back.
I have one that is 2 years old and one that was brought just before the g2 came out.
Questions I have are:
Are the g2 in like new cond?
Or should I just upgrade to a pro?
Do you know if there have addition warranty?
Would you do it again?

Guess I'm concern with getting a lemon.

I called ecotech cause I want to take my gen 1 and get a pro in return. They said that the pro I would get would be like a brand new fixture, right off factory line.

The 2 Gen 2 that I got from the exchange program is brand new.

No additional warranty, but you do end up with what looks like a brand new fixture.
I think you should go straight to the Pro. The addition of the UV color light makes all the difference.

I may have too much light for my tank.

You will get the warranty too all Eco Tech ever asks for is the manufacture date awesome company to deal with

I upgraded two Gen1s to Pros a couple months ago, and do not regret it at all. I have them over a mixed LPS/Softy tank and the corals glow much more with the UVs. Aesthetically, it is much more pleasing, particularly at sunrise/sunset. The more powerful CREE XTE white LED in the Pro is good, but not necessary for my current use, but is a nice thing to have in case you need it.
