Anyone doing a water change soon

Honestly after everything considered I will probably just go with new water. I do how ever need to find out more on this new process of cycling. I am only familiar with the dead shrimp or damsel method.

Everyone's input is very appreciated, lots of good minds on this forum.

Thanks
James

For what its worth, I put dry rock and live sand in my tank, then added a bottle of Bio Spira bacteria (Dr. Tims would work too) and then I just ghost fed my tank as if there were fish. I tested daily for two weeks and never had detectable ammonia or nitrite, only nitrates. They topped out at 2 and held steady for a few days and then I added a few snails, crabs, pods and a pair of clowns and havent looked back. I continued to test daily for a month after adding the first live stock and they were still undetectable. Many aquariums and public exhibits do it this way because they are under time constraints. I suggest searching for a few videos of Dr. Tim.
