anyone else feed RBTA/GBTA every day?

i've had my RBTA for about a month now. it's about doubled it's size and is doing great. i was feeding it a silverside every mon, wed and fri. then i increased to every other day. now it's just about every day. it looks great except if i don't feed it every day the mouth sometimes is slightly opened. i have read that sometimes if they're hungry their mouth may open slightly and tentacles may get shorter. mine seems to get like this at night when MH go off and just actinics are on. i offer it a big silverside and it snatches it up and devours it like it's never eaten. anyone else feed every day?

they will get longer when hungry , not shorter, i wouldnt feed it that much unless you want it to split.....................i almost never feed mine

my tentacles are no way that short but from reading this it seems the shorter the hungrier. i can be wrong though.

they stretch out when hungry to try and catch something going by, .................? i dont know ,i can tell when mine are hungry, after i feed they shrink up and get more bubbles...............i had one split not into 2 but into 3, one died so, i dont want any more , i backed off feeding

yes I feed mine every day and they couldn't look better.

anyone else's BTA ever have a slightly open mouth. not gaping but more like a small hole. it's normally closed.

Mine kinda' changes shape on a regular basis - mouth and body sometimes long, sometimes short. I feed it about twice per week and it has been doing fine for three years.
