I have a vlamingi that ive had for sometime and he is so tame now he will take food right out of my hand LOL:lmao:

I put my hand in the tank all the time to feed frozen. My mature pair of Belus Angels pull the food right out of my hand.

When I go to put Nori in the tank, the yellow tangs and hippo tangs will pull it from my hand.

My favorite was a Long Nose Butterfly I had years ago that would spit out the top of the tank at you when you walked past the end of the tank.

I have a couple fish myself that literally take food out of my fingers. It all started when i started to feed them mysis and i wanted to feed them by squeezing the mysis in the water. After a couple weeks they came closer and closer until the got very calm and i can even touch some of them. These are the ones that eat from my fingers in the order of who started first.

1 Sailfin tang
1 powder brown
1 yellow tang
1 solar wrasse
2 chromis
1 bartlet anthia
1 hippo tang

I will post a video when I get the MI to the point it does it all the time. Not sure how long it will take, hopefully it will be soon, now it does,it maybe once or twice a week and I don't know exactly when it will choose to do so.

I try to hand feed as many of my fish as possible. Right now I have 10 clownfish and none of them bite. I believe it's because they've been hand fed. I also care for a large blond naso tang that eats from my hand, comes to me every time I put my hand in the tank, and is very tame.

I've got a Copperband butterfly that eats out of my hand. He used to be a very skittish little guy, he's now a giant and when he sees me, he races to the front of the tank wanting me to feed him. His favorite is clams on a half shell, I used to just put one in the tank and leave, but i eventually became annoyed with the tangs aggressive eating behavior and decided to try and get my CBB to eat out of my hand and ever since, he's been eating out of my hand.

I've also had a Moorish Idol that used to eat out of my hands, relatively close to when my CBB began, but i was forced to get rid of the idol unfortunately, after he acquired a taste for all my expensive brains corals... Was definitely a bit devastating having to rehome him after having him thriving in the reef tank without any previous issues...

My old one spot rabbit fish and blotch I tang used to both eat out of my hand. The rabbit fish made me nervous at first but now I miss him.
