Anyone else need "cow manure recovery pad" for their aquarium

In my quest for a quieter tank, I went looking for a solid rubber pad on Google and ran across this:

From here:

It's a 5/8" rubber pad with holes and a 1/4" nubs on the bottom to allow flow. I'm going to cut one up and put it on my sump under my skimmer and return pump to see if I can keep vibrations down.

Since I'm sure shipping will be more than the pad itself, wondering if anyone else wants one. Each pad is 4'x6'.

Hi,

I would look into it a little before you put it in your tank. I don't know if natural rubber is OK for a reef tank. Will the rubber leach any bad chemicals into your tank? Most plastics are Ok but I don't know about rubber. Just a thought.

No, it's for in the tank under the skimmer. I thought with rubber gaskets, rubber bands, rubber suction cups and rubber gloves used in the industry that this would be ok.

FYI, Harbor Freight often has those mats. They call them anti-fatigue work mats. You can also try Home Depot, Lowes or McMaster-Carr if there is one near you. They are used for factory workers so they don't have to stand directly on the hard concrete all day or in wet locations like dishwashing stations to keep the guy from slipping.
