Anyone else trying one of the green gigs from bluezoo?

I have one coming in tomorrow. It's the first time they've had any listed as green in quite a while. I'm curious if they'll be reasonably healthy and reasonably green.

Good luck. I want to know. I don't like their guarantee policy on carpet nem.

Yea. The basically no guarantee sucks but for the price I think it's worth the chance. Honestly, I don't think a company should have to warranty an anemone aside from arriving in decent shape. Way to easy for the buyer to kill them even if they arrive in good shape. I kind of think that if companies had to warranty them like they do with fish most would just stop selling them.

I received the in stock notice. My only concern is that it may not be a true green but a bleached tan one that appears to be green.

My experience with Blue Zoo nems is hit or miss. However, they're really good about DOAs and mis-IDed nems (haddoni instead of gig) and have credited my account several times.

With gigs in particular, I probably have a 50% survival rate. One of the tan ones I bought for $40 is quickly growing into a monster.

I think this is why I haven't seen one on Divers Den in a long time.

Yea, I'm concerned with how green their green will be. I don't have room for another brown. I figure if it comes in more brown then green I can just sell it. Assuming it even makes it through treatment. I should have it in the next hour or so. I'll post pics when I get it in QT.

Please post pics... curious how it turns out... I haven't seen a nice green locally for awhile..

I haven't ordered any nems online just because of the shipping risk, not seeing it in person, and the lack of guaranty part... I just hit a handful of shops a week, lurk, and wait for a decent one :)

Made it in. It's in decent shape. It is not really a nice bright green though. It's more yellowish green. I'm assuming it will turn mostly brown when it settles in. Couldn't get a pic because I was in a rush to get back to work. I'll post one tonight. It's tiny. Foot looks to be in good shape. Not as sticky as it should be though. I have it in cipro now. For the price I think it met my expectations of what it would look like. I was definitely hoping to get lucky with a nice bright green one though.

My pair came in this morning, definitely not greens. Sent them an email and will report when they respond.

I did receive a green on previous order back in Dec '15. It was a beauty that responded well to treatment but just withered away in the DT.

Yea. I was hoping for something more like your last pic. I'm going to see what mine looks like when I get home under a decent light. Mine does definitely have more color than the two you got though.

Look green to me. It is not the neon or metallic green like the last pic. Nice to see they arrived alive.

Thanks for the update. Try using blue light over it like the one you received before. You will see the green pop out.

Exact same light used in pics. Only difference is a blue bowl vs clear and a newer iphone camera. Curious if they respond to that as they seem to think those classify as green.

I ordered one as well. Looks like ones above.. Probably just gonna be tan. It came in pretty healthy though and was firmly attached to the inside of the bag. I'll try to get a pic tonight after work. Definitely not a "green" but for the price, heck, I figured I'd give it a shot!
