Anyone else trying one of the green gigs from bluezoo?

Try placing those anemones under blue lighting. They were green when we had them here. They look more yellow than tan. They would most likely look green under tank lighting as they did here. Give that a try and if that doesn’t work, we can refund the difference. If they were not remotely green, we would not have shipped them. Give the tank lighting a try and let us know how they look.

We have differing opinions on what green looks like.

It it possible for them to become more green over time? Or a tan will always be tan?

They may get a hint of greenish/yellow over time but those will never be a true green. The tan I got from them a couple years back has a hint of yellow/green but it's no where near the color of a true green you see posted on here occasionally.

They just issued me a refund on the two nems.

Well it looks even less like it has any green in it now that it opened up. I emailed them this pic so hopefully they will make it right. It does make me curious to see what they would send if you ordered a normal non colored one.

I think I have to agree, those all look brown to me too, except the one Olemiss reb posted in the blue bucket looks green to me. I will never buy from blue zoo ever again, if that says anything. I have sent them money before too... in exchange for nothing...

And they only have one picture of it. ONE PICTURE??? What the heck! With that price tag, I would expect ATLEAST a few more. One picture shows absolutely zero effort.

Well it looks even less like it has any green in it now that it opened up. I emailed them this pic so hopefully they will make it right. It does make me curious to see what they would send if you ordered a normal non colored one.

Although that guy does look to be in good condition, it is unfortunate they misled you on the color. Both, happy to see healthy, and sorry to see you didn't get your desired color.

It is possible that it was shipped from the supplier. They never actually saw the nems.

Can you take a pic under whiter light. It seems they at least have some reasonably healthy ones. Too bad the color is so off on all of them.

I got a tan from them a little over a year ago. Looked pretty much just like these but arrived in worse shape. Made it through Cipro and looks good today. It has slight hints of green/yellow but it's tan.

It is pretty healthy, no issues there. It's in my new tank, which is just plumbed into the same water system as my 300 reef.

Yea, that's basically identical to mine. I already have a brown one though so this one a basically useless to me. I'll try to get it fully healthy and then see if anyone wants it I guess.
