anyone ever been here?

I think this is the same place that has ads for their tanks on the recycler... but most likely they won't sell the tank alone for those prices.

LOL, do a search on Atlantic Aquarium on this forum. Recently there seems to be at least one thread a week on this place.
Shady to say the least. LOL, sure the tank may be cheap... but they won't let you buy the tank alone

Hmmmm. Good to know. Thank you Gabriel for starting this thread. I'd still like to hear more about them and personal experiences from anyone that has purchased their tanks.
Thanks.

any suggestions?

All glass tank you must buy the glass top lids at additional fee.. haha what a joke...

i got a car for sale... but you gotta buy the doors for additional price... =)

Not to be a web snob... but do you really want to trust a business that built their web pages in Microsoft Word?

Okay, so that makes me a web snob. I can live with that.

From their ad at the very bottom.

Prices are subjects to change without notice. Please call for current updated prices or stock on hand. Most fish are special orders and need a 25% deposit. Fish and Corals listed above are small sizes. We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone. Limited to one item per person per household. These special prices applies only to new customers and local pick up only. All glass tank you must buy the glass top lids at additional fee. There is a 3% sub charge on all credit card transactions. Some restrictions and rules apply see or call store for further details… )

Don't think I'd trust them with all of those disclamiers in there.

I believe credit cards prohibit retailers from charging the 3% transaction, usually retailer mask this by saying "cash" discount. Anyone going to find out how much those glass top lids costs? :)

The question really is, "Are their acrylic tanks any good?" Bebo is going to pay them a visit in person for me this weekend and he'll check them out.
Thank again guys for all the input.
First impressions are though that it may not be worth the risk purchasing a tank from them, especially since I'm so far away.

How did the visit go a friend of mine is looking for a tank and told me about htem if they aren't worth it I may be able to save him.
Thanks
Ariel
