Anyone ever buy anything from this place?

sorry to butt in but i heard they only sell from the internet cause they dont have a license to deal out of thier house...... they are only about 20 minutes from me...... I would love to go over and see what they have....so i hope my info is wrong..... can anybody enlighten me on whether this is true or not?

That wasn't the case when I went up there. Whether you sell at your house or Ebay, I guess if you really wanted to get technical, they could list everything you intended to purchase on Ebay as a private auction and you could buy it and be done with it that way...but they were more than willing to sell to me in person. I'd contact them in person and try to figure it out that way. Its always possible that they've changed their policy since November.

I was sort of working in the area today and stopped by. They are really nice people. Picked up 6 frags of various zoanthids and a nice orange acan. They have a much better variety at their place than they have listed on line. Took me about 90 minutes to get home from there using I-80 and I-79.

Prices were very reasonable.

They have 7 or 8 tanks right now but are in the process of setting up several more. They are going to be increasing their SPS selection also.

I am still interested in a trip after the holidays as well.

What'd you get from them?

6 different zoanthid frags and one 6 head orange acan.

Was wondering if you got any of those metallic blueish palys that they had...were really cool and thought they'd be a really neat addition to a tank in a larger colony.

I'd probably be interested in going as well, although if it wasn't early January, February would work better for me. I'm about 90% sure that I'm going to join the PMAS and it'd be great to meet some of the people that are in it. What do I need to do in order to get signed up for the new year.

I think you can join on the website, or better yet, come to the next meeting in January.

When is it. I read you're meeting at Elmer's now.

Good question. The date is not set as far as I know. They are generally later in the month. My guess would be the 24th.

BTW, they said shipping to Pittsburgh in most cases would only be $17 if you didn't want to drive.
