Anyone ever deal with water-testers.com aka aquatic-store.com?

So my wife asked me for Christmas what reef related items I'd like to receive. I've been wanting a TDS meter for awhile. She does not know what that is so she tells me to let her know where to order it from. So I started searching the net and found water-testers.com aka aquatic-store.com. Prices are reasonable and they are located close home in Saint Charles. I also found PH meters so I figured what the heck I'll ask for one of those too.
Well she placed her order 3 weeks before Christmas. One of the items was on backorder so they did not ship. Well it's now Jan 3, no shipment has been received and to make things worse, they don't want to respond to emails regarding the status of the order and I can't get a hold of them on the phone. Has anyone had any dealings with them?

good ratings on eBay........hmm. try contacting them through ebay maybe

Yup, I'm glad they did. Just would have been easier and nicer to get a prompt response from an email. Guess I now need to patiently wait ..........

News on the milti they are on the way in BUT I just found out the Calibration solution for this unit will no longer be made.
What we will do for you if you want
is upgrade you to the t-75 free of charge making this order a loss for us but you a happy customer.

Please let me know if that would work out for you.

I've dealt with him a few times and is very good to work with. However, he is a very very busy guy. I think he runs around 65 websites.

Sweet deal on the upgrade!
 
Bummer, I liked the guy. I met him at his warehouse and picked up the item the same day I ordered it. I was thinking of ordering a PH controller to go with the regulator I bought from him last year...guess not.

You still have not answered my question is this upgrade fine or do you want me to send the unit that the solution will no longer be available.
 
gbecker. I don't know either of you so I'm not taking sides but I've dealt with marc a few times and have had no problems. I do know that he is very busy though. As an outsider looking in and not taking sides, I think it's just a miscommunication/isolated incident.
 
Sounds like an honest misunderstanding. I have had it hang up when posting or pming too. Confidence restored.

I hope so. Seems that others have had good experiences with glowing reviews. Mine has been a train wreck so far.
