Anyone ever had a chiller recharged?

I came up on 1/4hp Custom SeaLife power cooler. It fires up but it won't cool anything down. I suspect (hope and pray) that it just needs a recharge. Does anyone know where I can get that done? Jiffy lube? Does anyone know how long a charge should last? Any help here would be appreciated! Thanks

Hey Keith, this is Christian. I can help you out, but I'll need to know if it needa R12 or R134a. Shouldn't be too hard to do. I will need to see the innards of it to see what type of connection it needs. Somewhere on the compressor it should say how much freon it holds, ususally in grams or lbs.

Very funny. Maybe I can fill it with chrisanthamum tea, I understand that stuff has quite a kick.
