Anyone ever own these?

I got these zoas about 10 months ago and they are by far my favorite colony. Took a little while to get going but what started as 2 polyps has grown to about 100. Im wondering if anyone has ever seen them or owned them personally. The reason i ask is because im curious if they have a name. Ive searched every corner of the internet ive even asked four different local fish stores if they know and i still have no name.

Don't know the name but they grow really fast. Had them in my tank but took up a lot of space real fast. Had to go....

I think that is the right name. I also had them explode in population in my tank. very fast grower. If only my fruitloops or rastas would grow as fast.

Awesome thanks guys, i was thinking the same thing williewilliams. I have some emeralds on fire that are very slow growers and lunar eclipse that refuse to do more than grow 6 heads and then melt four and repeat the process, it drives me crazy!

Well i just looked up radioactive dragon eyes and couldnt find a single picture that were identicle to mine. In case the pic isnt very clear, they have lime green skirts, with purple around the oral disk and the most neon yellow(like highlighter yellow) mouths.

I have the same. I forget the name. I bought them from reefpets on ebay.

Have the same ones but can't remember what name they came with either. Definitely fast growing. I feel like every week I can see the colony creeping a little further along the rock.

Yea i agree man i have them on a huge piece of LR in between two different colonies of zoas and they outgrow both with ease. Can you post up a pic of your for me? I have a few that are growing with different patterns now. Same colors but some are getting yellow specks on the purple part of the oral disk. Anyways anyone else who has them too id love to see how they look in your tanks so post em up!! And thanks for the help but i guess they will have to remain nameless for now! @ andrenym00 if you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for yours? I got them in a "zoa/paly multi pack" from an online vendor so im just curious how much they go for on their own

Yea i know the picture is kinda blurry and it doesnt show all the colors in the polyp im not the best picture taker

Actually the john deeres look just as identicle as the hypnotic halos do. This zoanthid naming situation is exhausting. How can the same exact zoa be sold as two different names? I guess its marketing technique? Change the name from pink eyed zoas to bubblicious pink blow pop radioactive uranium super ultra LE rare zoas and charge 100$ more per polyp i guess. Lol ok so maybe that was a little overboard. Anyway thanks for all the replies guys i am thrilled to finally be able to say they have a name and actually happy to see so many others have or had them at some point successfully. Happy reefing

Exactly. Those are pretty common, so they color them up really well, take a fancy new picture, and hope people get suckered into paying top dollar for them. The zoanthids market in this hobby right now is downright appalling.

Oh yea, looks exactly like mine. Ive been fragging them alot and giving them to friends and whenever they ask what they are i have to say i dunno. I guess ill call em john deers for now. But on the subject of naming zoas crazy and making them a ridiculous price, i was in my lfs monday and to my pleasant surprise they had an awesome bright orange zoa colony with dark blue centers and light blue sprinkles in the oral disk. While they could of charged an excessive price and gave them a ten word name, they were simply orange and blue zoa colony 50+ polyps. And they wanted 50$ bucks for em!
