Anyone feeding blood & or yeast to their small clams?

I have a small 3" maxima that I raised from 1.25" to its present state. It has always been in a reef tank & I never fed it. However when I clean the glass, there has to be lots of good stuff for the clam to filter out.

Now I picked up a small 1,75" crocea/maxima not sure which because of the large scutes on the shell. I wondering if I should feed some yeast & or blood to the little guy.

it looks like a Crocea to me.

if you have a decent fish population and feed them regularly you really dont need to add anything just for the clam. but if you feel the need to add something just for the clam there are better foods then blood or yeast( these are not natural foods) http://www.reed-mariculture.com/reefnutrition/phytofeast/
