Same price it's just a masterpiece; LADD looks more like a nice bleeding apple.

I'm sticking with the masterpiece over the bleeding apple. For me it's about quality as far as coloration of a coral. They all grow. If I'm going to spend the money I'd like to get something nice.

Very nice! I wonder if they will go down in price with time. I have seen a number of nice scolys like this one on other forums and they seem to be coming around more often. Hopefully they do!

that is very nice ! liveaquaria is why its 500 $ though . everything on there is marked up serious . i try to use them as a guide whenever selling stuff because theyre always more $$$. had a friend buy some stuff from there ( premium liverock) and got a box with a few not so premium rocks and a bunch of aptasia .... not so impressive imo . ill stick to the higher end , lower overhead vendors

Scolymia australis don't max out much past 2" & it doesn't seem to multiply very fast if at all. I woldn't pay more than $100 for any of them.................I don't get the insane mark up in these. They are always available on a daily basis from vendors.

I've seen much nicer ones at LFS for like $100-150... I think most online shops would have really good ones too for much less cash, DD's a bit off sometimes.
