I have about 25 gals of ro/di you're welcome to Murph, if you have containers. My unit will be able to refill in lest than a day.

thanks guys ...appreciate it big time . the RO/DI unit i picked up from jeff is running about .080 on the ole TDS meter ...not going to cut it. On Jeffs behalf he did tell me he was not sure what it was ,,,i was just wishin it was under .008 !!! thanks any way Jeff , i will just fire up my ole 35 gal day and have to wait till next week to fire it up , i do NOT feel like carrying 100'S gallons of water today from house to house , nor any day for that matter ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

hay murph you got a tds meter that reads down to .001? what kind is it thanks I'm looking for something better..

.008 is totally fine, I doubt an meter for the aquarium use will read that low. Did you mean tds of 8? tds of 3-4 is plenty fine IMO. I would even go as far as saying you won't have any issues with it being tds of 10. Yes it's time to change the filters at that point but harmful or bad in anyway ...probably not.

I've used tap water with tds of 90 for years with no issues either. :) RO/DI units back in the day were only for the rich rich guys..lol I probably didn't even hear of one for the first 5-10 years with reef tanks
