Anyone have a fish trap I can borrow that you can bring to the meeting saturday?

I need to get a wrasse out of one of my tanks. It keeps flipping over zoa frags and several of them have died. Ted (ACER) has one that I can borrow but I will not be able to get it until Monday. I would like to try to get it out this weekend since I will have more time.

If you have one that you can bring to the meeting let me know. I can trade a frag for letting me use it.

Thanks

Have you tried using a water bottle. I made one of these to get a canary wrasse out. Just shot some food in it, and in he went. Took about 5 minutes to catch him.

IME, a 20 oz or 16 oz bottle works better for smaller fish. It can be tricky to get the one you want, but I've also used TJ's method with some success.

What type of food were you guys putting in the trap? Everything I put in sinks to the bottom and they can't see it.

I have had it in for two days, only thing I have caught is my serpent star.

I used mysis shrimp. My wrasse was nuts at feeding time. He actually was biting the outside of the plastic bottle until he figured out how to get in.
