I just bought a quiet one 4000 to run my lifereef skimmer and found out the hard way it does not have the head pressure to run it. I did a little research on the skimmer and they recomend a mag9.5 to run the model I have. I can probbably return the pump to dr fosters and smith but I would rather see if I can trade for or buy one locally first.
