anyone have a set of phoenix 14k's?

i was just seeing if anybody had two phoenix 14k's they have as a backup i could try on my light? just wanted to see if i would like the coloring before i order two of them. they need to be the 250w DE's.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

thanks bean but they wont work, my 250 watt ballasts would probably cook them. they need to be 250 watt bulbs

They would not even fit the lamp holder Sirus appeared to be looking for them also.

They are my backup bulbs... I would give them away except that they are the only spares I have. Mabe $25 for the used set?

Bean - If Sirus doesn't take them, I will take them for sure. My ICecapp 15K is 8 months old now on my sons tank. OR If sirus does'nt want both of them - we can split them.

Looking back for the reciepts for these bulbs and not finding them... I not sure that they were not run for longer than I stated. I will just give them to you Sirus, as I can't be cerain how long they were over the tank. It was either 4-6 months or a year + that amount of time. I just can't remember if I have had 2 or 3 sets of bulbs since I switched to the Phoenix lamps.

Try them out and see if you like the color...

That was not from their new frag tank, but some frags they have in their current coral tanks. Those prices have me worried about how much they are going to ask for the frags they are going to get.

Yeah those prices are ridiculous. I saw some pulsing xenia in there before and they wanted like $70 for a small piece. Sorry for hijack of thread...back to original topic.
