I emailed roger but he doesn't want to give it up...

I'm looking for a contact number in the US or Canada and emails for
anywhere in the world at this point.

I found this:

info.english@tunze.com

and this:

tunze@sbcglobal.net

I'm not sure if it just gos back to roger or not.
how many reps are in the US? as far as I can tell
it's just him. after talking to a few people here on RC
This thing can't be as bad as what I'm seeing in mine.
I would work with roger but my first post about this
offended him and now he thinks he don't have to give
me any customer service..Aside from the help I got from
some wonderful RC members so I'm on my own with my new
9010...apparently if you tic off the US rep you get no warranty
and no CS. if you would rather not post, please PM me with it.

Thanks,

Ron

Ron,

Tunze USA is myself, David- warehouse manager, Rodney- new employee who I am training to help with tech support. That is it. Both of those email addresses come to me. The reason I had given up is you started off with talking about throwing the skimmer in the fire and then PM'd me that we ripped you off and you were just going to return it and made a few other remarks in PM and around the board. Now ask yourself what sort of help am I supposed to provide someone like that and it is even worth the time it takes given that I have more than enough to do and as I said, I can make 10+ customers happy in the time it takes to deal with someone who will never be happy. I did the only thing I felt I could do which was forwarn your dealer of the situation and tell him I would take care of any returns with him so he was not hung out to dry. The only person above me is my business partner Axel Tunze who owns the entire company. If you write to him it will just be forwarded to me to deal with as he does not have the time for this sort of thing and I have worked with him for 10 years. I am more than happy to help you but for the small margin I make on these products and the short amount of time I have in a day to get everything done that I have to get done- which includes repairs, all US distribution and customer service as well as all the bookkeeping and financial end of it, I just don't have time for dealing with non sense. If I see someone is an honest person who needs help, no problem, but when someone comes to my forum and starts a rant and bad mouths me and the company I work for, to heck with them I don't have time for it and I am fed up with dealing with it. I do the best I can. As long as I am treated with respect you will get the same back but I don't have a huge company or a crew to do tech support, the buck stops here and it has taken years of hard work for me to learn all of these products, for that matter I have helped develop many of these products including the 9010 skimmer. I am going to go read over the entire thread and see what can be done and what is wrong and I will let you know.

I stand by my assessment on the microbubbles resulting from the skimmer being right next to the return pump. Microbubbles will escape the skimmer to some extent though it will get better after a couple weeks of use. The only solution in this case is a divider between the pump and skimmer or to move the return pump. If you place the skimmer in tank it will release some microbubbles on occasion and I have honestly yet to see a skimmer that did not barring small airstone skimmers. Regarding the inconsistent air flow and poor adjustment. I think the venturi you have is not correctly made. Some of them made earlier this year the hole was .1mm too big and the airline nipple is a loose fit. The factory in Germany is only about 40 workers, 50 people total including the office staff and everything is hand assembled and they do screw up on occasion. I can send you a new one that i have prechecked for proper fit. Just PM me your full name and shipping address. Everything else with the operation sounds/looks normal. A grinding noise on start up is normal but should stop within a few seconds, this is the clutch mechanism actuating to get the impeller spinning in the right direction. If it persists longer than a few seconds the usual culprit is part 3000.62 has slid forward, this part is labeled bush bearing. As long as water is exiting the pipe and the outlet hole in the back everything should be OK, I think the airflow is just deficient due to a faulty venturi nozzle.
