Anyone Have Firefish Gobies???

Gonna Need A Bigger Tank
I'm looking for some flashes of color in my new 120. Here's what I have:
zebra tang
copperband
pair of mated clowns
2 skunk cleaners
1 sebae
1 pitiful-looking BTA
3 pajama cardinals
1 sand-sifting goby (pink-lined)
I was thinking of the firefish gobies because they look nice and are inexpensive. Does anyone have any recommendations here?
I don't want fish that will "hide" all the time.
Thanks,

midas blenny. I am addicted to blennies. i preach the blenny gospel here hahaha

Sometimes Aquaria Studio and SITC have those but you should check ahead of time.. and you're in lakeland so i dont relaly know whats out your way =\

i tried some in my old 90 gallon.
they are jumpers. everyone i had jumped out. they are however beautiful fish. i think eggcrate might be a good idea.

I've never had one jump. But they are aggressive toward each other: get one---that's all you're likely to see.

Royal Gramma, nice colors and reef safe.

And Panther Groupers absolutley LOVE them!! LOL

That's so great congrats :) Maybe I will have to stop in soon to see whats going on in their salt water department now I know some people in there who will lobby to make it a better local place!

I had two purple firefish in my 180 and they hid ALL the time. They were way too scared of the larger fish even tho the larger fish never took any interest whatsoever in them. They eventually starved because they couldn't even stay out in the open long enough to eat. I won't try them again in any tank with large fish. I am probably going to put a pair of them in my office nano though, they are absolutely gorgeous fish.

I have a pair of firefish, they have been in my tank about two weeks. When I first got them all they did was hide behind the rocks, now one hasturned aggressive towards the other one. The aggressive one is out all the time and very friendly towards his other tank mates, the one that is being picked on just hides under a rock and only comes out to feed. If I was to do it over again I would of only gotten one of them. I also have a royal gramma, He is a very active, friendly, and colorful fish.

If you feel that the firefish is too stressed and it needs a new home I'm a good mom for a little peaceful fish :)

I've heard grammas can get mean, depending on the tankmates...doesn't like pseudochromis, I don't think it likes most basslets. Not sure what else has issues with it, but read up before getting one of those...they are cheap, though.I like the neon cleaner gobies: they have nice colors, they won't hide most of the time, they are peaceful to almost every tankmate, and they will almost never get picked on by bigger fish...in fact, most fish are very happy to have them in there...very small though. Firefish can be jumpers, so eggcrate is recommended. As Boost said, panther groupers are cool, but must be very well trained not to mess with most other tankmates...use serious caution with one of them. Anthias are pretty colors, as with fairy wrasses, but are more expensive and are also many times considered jumpers. When you say zebra tang, is this the convict tang you are mentioning? How is this with your tankmates? I heard they can get a little mean, but mainly towards other tangs...don't know how much truth there is to this.
