anyone been successul housing BTA's in a tank with just seio pumps being stationary? I have 2 seio 820's but one usually stays on....Do you guys thinks i have enough flow for a BTA? or do i need more flow? I dont want it wandering everywhere killing coral.
I had 2 820s and my mag5 return in my 72 bow front for a while with no ill effects. I recently replaced one of the 820s with a 2600 and they don't seem particularly happier or any the worse for the flow change.
I have a seio 820 and 2 maxijet 900's with a mag 9 for return pump in my 75 Gallon and my RBTA is doing great. He is not in the direct path of the powerheads but he gets a good wave going from them and seems to like it. I have only had it for 2 weeks now and it has almost doubled in size...
wow thanks for responses, racing 1.... do your fish still have enough room to swim around? I plan on getting 5 cardinal fish , goby or blenny, and a flame angel.... still
