anyone have this SPS?

Merulina Coral,

I was at Ocean Reef today and they have it in stock. Very cool looking coral when it grows like that. I belive I have also seen it at Rob's Reef.

Hey,

Pat was over to Atlantis today had a lot of nice corals. I picked up a few . They did a nice job on their lighting over there display tanks . They always have so much to choose from , makes it hard to decide what to bring home. John showed me how to frag a few of the corals it got. :)

One note about the merulina corals. They will put out a sweeper and sting everything around them. Make sure you have good seperation between them and other corals.

Tbass, that was just one way of fragging. Next time I'll so you a better method. lol I'm glad that you liked our new Reef Lighting System. 4 - 175MHs on 1 unit, 4 - 250MHs on 2nd unit and 4 - 400MHs on each of the last 2 units. The new canopy we built came out looking pretty nice. We're pleased with it's appearence.

john it looks very nice. Costumers get a side view and a top view of all the sps. Its good to see that you still use SE sockets, everyone is hqi crazy these days. I would like to see your frag methods also so let me know when you show tbass

Hi Tbass,

I heard about the new way of fraging at Atlantis. I prefer the traditional method. (inside Joke) Yes the new lighting setup at Atlantis is great. Very well done, you can see from the side and top without being blinded by the lights. Now if I can only get these lights out of my eyes from seeing their display prior to the new setup. Just kidding.

John the Florida Recordia are doing good but have not fully opened up yet. Looking forward to when they do, I got some beautiful Recordia from you. The Yellow Yuma Recordia I got from you last week is doing good as well. I have it right next to the bright green Yuma Recordia I got from Rob last month and they look great together. A lot of good stuff available from our LFSs these days. I have been very pleased with the selection of livestock made available to us here in town. In the past I would go to Orlando and Daytona to look for more coral selection but in the last year things have really turned around in Jacksonville. I believe that it is because of this the Jacksonville club has grown so much. And because the club has started to grow we should find more options available to us at the meetings. for example more people will be trading frags at the meetings. We now have A. Calfo coming to a meeting and we are getting much more from the meetings. The LFSs are doing a great job.
