anyone have this??

nope....i want do to a sweet retro set up later on but want to have more light on my 110 in the mean time....found a bunch of lights on ebay for like 350 or so...that i guess would hold me over till i can save the "real" retro fit set up i want.

You've got to be careful of those ebay lights... few are UL listed and many don't last very long at all. They're cheap for a reason, and while they may 'hold you over", I view it more like a waste of money. Wait until you can spend the money on the good unit the first time.

I'd avoid anything without the brand represented, they cut corners somewhere. T5s are good and cheaper, if you want MH try to find a used one if price is an issue.

If I didn't make a mistake for what I saw from their T5 picture, I've tried their lighting before, a good quality product from my view. but I like the MH's shimmering effetct, so sold the T5 I had.

I can almost sure it's the same company, somehow I had a impression their product line merged under "Catanila Lighting".

It's only my experience and it's been has been 3 years... but from what I seen (the T5 picture almost 99% sure it's the same one I purchased), I can assure the quality is not bad, and prce should be good.

those are really nice...can't fine the one for an extra 50....only see them for like 200 more...which i am sure are worth it....i would also like the other supplemental lighting for when i the halides go off...and i am kinda broke thats all....i love those reflectors though!!! thanks again surge

i was looking at that one also and love the price and all and i will not have to pay any extra out of pocket for it when i sell my current light...and i like the fact it has 4 pc bulbs instead of the 2 the coralife set ups come with.

thanks for the post and let me know how your buddy likes it. any pictures of it over his tank. and was his new...in the link it looks likes its not in a box. also seems to have more fans or vent holes the my coralife fixture has.

i would buy that in heart beat but i am torn between that or the 400 watt light....is the 400 just overkill for my tank since i want to keep some stuff other than sps in there...also the heat is much more from the 400 watt bulbs??? thanks all for the help.
