My wife and I are going on our honeymoon January 1-16 to Fiji and Australia and will be going diving. We would like to be able to get great photos of the reef while we're there, but the underwater housing for our camera (Canon Rebel T1i 500D) is about $1300 from Ikelite. Does anyone have this housing and would you be interested in renting it? Or do you have other recommendations?

Try ebay and Scubaboard.com.
If you don't want to drop the $ you can usually rent some pretty decent cameras at most vacation dive shops.

Thanks a lot Monkeyfish. Because of you I just spent a couple of hours on Scubaboard.com and another $400+ on an underwater camera setup!
I picked up a Canon S90 with the Canon underwater housing, and will probably look to pick up a strobe for it as well. Add that to the $1000 in Scuba equipment I purchased for the both of us and $650 for the Canon Rebel T1i and this was the quickest $2k ever spent!

When I started Scuba I came to realize that, between the diving and my reef tank, I had picked up the two most expensive hobbies I'd ever heard of.
Scubaboard is a great place to pick up tips and find good vacation/diving spots. I loved Grand Cayman and Bonaire. Hope to hit Fiji next year.
