anyone have wrasse videos?

this guy (heuerfan) has a nice video of his wrasses in action --I've never seen these in person so it helps me get an idea if I want one or not ....anyone else have videos to check out? flames, scott's, labouti,liniatus, 8 line fairy flashers, filamented, etc

This is prob the best quality collection of video tours Ive found -- click on carls 150 ...I dig the rockwork idea and that leopard wrasse is pretty nice-1st time Ive seen one in action. Reefmike's 180 has a tricolor wrasse (im guessing) and some other I cant identify

Got him today but still haven't gotten a great view of him. He is hiding out, hopefully will come out for a picture soon.

Well I woke up this morning and he was being eaten by the crabs. I am very upset. He was going to be so beautiful. I got credited back for him but it still is upsetting.

where did you order him from? how did you acclimate it, drip method?

I got him from liveaquaria.com. I used the floating method, then I added 1/2 tank water every 4 minutes until the bad was full. I followed what the directions said. He never really did come out from hiding. He stayed observing from until the live rock.

I take it you ordered one of those fiji scott's, yes? I was curious what the coloration looked like and how big it was cuz I thought of one too

Yeah it was from Fiji. With the quick look of him before he hid in the tank he had beautiful coloring. He had green, pink and blue. Still debating if I want to try again. My husband says it's a fact of life some fish just don't make the journey and I shouldn't be ready to quit. We'll see.

yeah, I ordered 2 wrasse from marinedepotlive ... solar and filamented. both came bigger than I wanted and beat up, so I wasnt too happy w/ the order. The filamaneted looked strong than the solar, but actually died within 4 days. The solar is doing well 7 months later and the coloring has gotten brighter w/ age --

its like gambling, but as long as you can get credit I wouldnt be discouraged. I may want to try the fiji since the price is good --they never show pics of them though. I kinda like the green australian ones though
