Just asking because I recently came across a specimen that I really like and...well, my entire tank is pretty much high flow. :hmm2:

Just added a mp10 to a 16g and the hammer wasnt extending too well since I got it but now seems to really like the strong wave. Actually thinking thats exactly what it needed to break out of the funk it was in.

My guess would be what they are used to will also play a role in how well it does when first hit with flow. I'm sure they can get used to stronger flow over time it if that is a possibility.

I'm going through some similar issues with so zoos and polyps. Bought them before deciding to go sps. But the hammer is happy luckily.

Was talking to the LFS guy locally here. He said that what most of us have in our tanks ain't hold a candle to what these corals go through in the ocean - they are used to 50,000 gallons of water swirling and crashing around them. So unless you see flesh actually tearing away from the skeleton, you should be okay - just keep in mind it may need time to adjust.
