Captain Quirk New member Jul 18, 2006 #2 I have 2 175W 10K Ushios. I supplement them with 2 96W actinic CF's. I'm using a blue line ballast for the MH's. Without actinic it appears a bit yellow. Actinics really round it out if you ask me. Next time? I'll probably go with the 14K's...

GTR Active member Jul 18, 2006 #6 I liked it until I tried a higher K bulb. Really depends on what you get used to seeing. If you like 20k bulbs you'll need a lot of actinic. SteveU

L lastin1 Member Jul 18, 2006 #7 What did you like about it? Did it look white to you prior to getting a higher K bulb? I don't like 20k for sure. Too blue makes it look unnatural.
