Anyone in Napa?

I would love to actually know someone else in this hobby, other than just online, so it would be cool to find anyone local.

I must add that I'm pretty happy to find this forum. I shop for most of my supplies/livestock in Santa Rosa and travel to Ukiah frequently so, after all this time on Reef Central, and doing this for almost 5 years, to discover other reef keepers on here so near by, is more than exciting.

We dont have any members in Napa if i remember correctly. but we have meetings any where from RP to windsor. you are more then weclome to join if you like. We have about 25 members or so.

I am very interested in coming and willing do what ever is involved in "joining". I don't like talking much to LFS people even though they are the only other souls that I know that do this (sort of) besides those at online reef forums.
So, please to make your acquaintance, lol. And I'm hoping that my schedule allows me to make any meetings. I would really enjoy that.

Do the reefers in Napa post here often? I would be interested meeting people that are in my neighborhood too.

i know audio101 does. as for joining there are no fees curently. just show up to the meetings. they are once a month as for the date just watch this form for info. if you have any questions feel free to ask anyone of us. By the way I am Clay and i am also the Prez of this NCR. we have many reefers with a lot of experiance some have more years reefing then i do, a live on this earth

There are a few of us in Napa. Brian (brianbigoats) and Alicia (slojmn) and myself but we are not real active any clubs as being in Napa we are kinda on the outskirts of BAR North coast and MARS. But we help each other out so its kind of our own un offical club.

And I'm all for meeting people in Napa so thanks for chiming in prodman.
It would be awesome to meet somewhat regularly even if its just to see each others tanks. Again, I've never had the opportunity to actually know anyone else who keeps reefs in the 5 years that I've been doing it (probably because I just spent the last 10 years in Ukiah and have only been back in Napa for a year, most of that time with out my aquarium while our renter "babysat" it. We've only had it up and running in our new house for a few weeks).

So, I keep repeating myself but I'm excited about the Northcoast Reefers and finding people in Napa.
