Hey guys, been looking for one ever since I lost mine in a crash and the one John was holding for me was given to Tacocat when John closed up shop.

Anyone here besides Unarce have a tubs pink sprinkles? If so, please let me know!

Yeah, there are 2 or 3 in the area that got a piece from me. Probably not big enough to frag, though:(

Definitely try tacocat. I think he and whodah have a colony.

Unarce, has your pink sprinkles kept some of the pink and multi colors or has it turned brown or green base with green polyps like tacocats?

How long before you frag again?

I have not been able to maintain the sprinkles either:( I moved mine again, this time into a cave. It's been a few weeks, and still no sprinkles. If I move it again soon, I'll clip you a piece.

I got a frag from Karl and now I got the pink to come out, not on the top but around the edges and on the bottom. I placed mine on the sand bed and once in a while it got covered by the sand.

We have a HUGE colony of "pink" sprinkles. It's more like green sprinkles. Like Karl, we have not been able to get it to color up, and we don't feel right advertising it until we can find a winning formula that will work on coloring it up.

I too have achieved growth, but no pink.

Anthony, please expand. I have mine is a cave, but maybe I will try on the sandbed. How is you flow where it is placed?

I took some picture of mine, it's on the sand bed under 250W 12k reeflux roughly 2.5' away from the light. Pictures are not that great.

I'll test all the water this weekend when I clean the front glass. Some how I got less fish now and my no3 is climbing so some of my sps is not doing well.

here is what happened sometime, completely covered in the sand

I guess little_d didn't have any rubble rock to mount the sprinkles so he mount it on a snail shell. :D :D

Little_d more pics PLEASE! First clean the glass and blow away the sand so that we can see better/clearer pics.

seriously, he happened to have a corraline buildup RIGHT THERE. Goodness, I think he did that on purpose just to tease! =)

I have no clue how John was able to do that, but as Karl can attest to, John had some serious pink on that thing. I think he was dosing his tank meth or something. :D

It's still cool in green, and we have been able to get some pink, but nothing like that. We are going to experiment with different places (light levels) this month in preparation for RAP. Hopefully, we can learn something before then.

Thus far, it seems to respond best to lower lighting conditions, like in the shade.

Wow, Anthony! That's great! I'm glad someone was able to get the pink back. I'm going to move mine again to a spot only gets light that bounces back up.

Makes sense.... knowing where it came from :)

I think that's the most elusive part of this hobby Gresham. The depth from which everythings collected.
