Anyone interested in a ReefTopia group buy?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone was interested in a ReefTopia group buy. Its been a long time since anyone has done a clean up crew order. :)

I don't have a date, but it would likely be ordering on March 17th for delivery on the 18th. Meeting place to be determined.

Also, because I'm fairly sure it will be asked, I would consider other providers (such as reefcleaners), but in my experience ReefTopia has a better selection and better survival rate. However, both companies have great customer service. I would be willing to discuss it, but I'm fairly set on ReefTopia. :)

Anyone interested?

Sounds good, guys. The #1 goal is to hit free shipping at $120. But, the more we buy, the cheaper it gets. We've had some great group buys in the past and hit some incredible prices. I could see that happening again. :)

Jennifer, did you have an order in with ReefTopia or someone else?

After looking a little closer, it looks like reefcleaners has much better prices.

What do you guys think?

i know i cant wait either.. i brokered a deal with at guy in maryville for his entire setup... but cant get it till my refund comes in.. he's a great guy been waiting about 2 months now..

the peeps on nano-reef uses reefcleaners... really good stuff from what they're been posting..
 
im interested, depending on what we want, some items are cheaper in teh bulk section, but would need a few people to need that many....
 
Maryville is a little bit of a drive, Kevan. I have friends and family there. :)

Jay, I agree... I'm not sure that we'd hit their higher lot prices. We have in the past, but that was with Wayne doing a bulk of the order getting 300 hermits and 200 snails sometimes. :lol:

I'm leaning toward ReefCleaners at this point. I do like ReefTopia's selection better (specifically the small 1" fighting conchs... had one of those for years... they're great!), but I'd rather have good prices on Nassarius, as thats the main snail I'm after along with some ceriths.

Sounds good, Bill. I think I'm going to this time. I just submitted the form to get things rolling with ReefCleaners. :)

Having said that, I will start an official thread once I get word back that its a go.

This will be for Friday, March 18th, BTW.

So i have a question. I dont think i have replenished my cleanup crew since the last group buy Brandon did at least two years ago. What is a good combo of critters to get for a 65 gallon tank. I should probably already no this but have ignored this part of my tank.
 
They have recommended packages for tank sizes on the site, although the numbers are huge, you could get an idea?
