So, I had a lifegard 240W 6 cylinder UV sterilizer thats been sitting around for some time now, The cylinders were coming unglued from each other. I decided I wanted to take it out and see what I can do with it.
So far, I have all the cylinders taken apart. So I now have 5 individual 40w UV sterilizers (Plus 1 cylinder that the quartz sleeve broke-Whoops)
I am going to reglue 2 together to make myself an 80w unit (I Called Lifegard and asked them what the best glue to use would be, They informed me they use regular old PVC glue)
They have 1.25" standard PVC connections on them.
So, I will have 3 remaining 40w cylinders (PLUS, I have another complete 6 cylinder 240w unit that I can sell complete or dismantle if there is enough interest)
I think I have bulbs and ballasts for them all, However the bulbs are an unknown age and I will be replacing the 2 in the unit I use and I'd recomend you do the same.
I have no idea what to price 40w, 80w, or 120w units at, So I guess Make me an offer? I can put them together for you or you can DIY.
