Anyone interested in some FW fish?

Hi Everyone,

I know this is a 'reef' forum but I know that a few people also run FW aquariums as well so I thought I'd ask here first.

Due to an upcoming home remodel - I am taking down my FW 75G aquarium and use that as a holding tank for my SW inhabitants while the remodel is ongoing. After the remodel, I'm going to just stay with SW.

Anyway the fish I have are:

4 Pearl Gouramis - Trichogaster leeri
3M, 1F - all between 3 and 3.5 inches.

4 Dwarf Chain Loaches (Botia sidthimunki)
Unsexed but I believe there's at least 1 female. All are around 2 inches.

6 Burmese Border Loaches (Botia Kubotai)
Unsexed - again I think there's a couple of females. All are between 2 and 3 inches and are just starting to develop the adult polka-dot coloration.

I also believe that there's a couple of Otos as well. It's hard to tell because they hide under a piece of drift wood. I started with six 3 years ago and I saw three this last weekend.

The fish above are free to RC people (I know I'm taking a bath - especially on the loaches). All I'm asking for is that they get a good home. All of the fish are disease and parasite free and are (including the Otos) acclimated to the local tap water (pH 8.0 and extremely hard).

If there's anyone interested - PM me.

Hey John,
I know that you're offering to just RC people, but there's a freshwater community in the bay area called SFBAAPS and I'm 100% sure the people on there would love some of these, and the majority of the members have stunning tanks (think ADA style). Would you like me to post this thread on their forum as well? I'm sure your fish will have amazing homes with those members.

Hi Buddy,

Sure please feel free to post the thread. As I said in the OP - I'm just interested in finding good homes for these fish rather than either selling on CL or trading into the LFS. So go for it. I'll PM you my email address so that you can refer people to me directly.

Thanks!
