I'm having a hard time finding information regarding Jellyfish? From life span, care tips/requirements, etc...Does anyone know of any good sites...Also, any comments/suggestions are more than welcome

Thanks dert...I've found some stuff too but nothing too specific...I'm looking for information regarding tank size, lighting, placement of flow since they basically need to be suspended...Don't think I'd ever get one but pretty interesting

That's right, I forgot about the censorship. ;)

I was wondering do the come from area clasifications like mexican floridian or jamaican??????

Yes, there is a geographical distribution but I don't think there is a geographical classification. Some species prefer temperate waters while other species prefer cooler water. I would assume that all of the species near Mexico, Florida, and Jamaica would all be similar species. However other species prefer cooler waters look moon jellies, comb jellies, etc.

As I understand the experience of Monterrey Bay Aquarium and Seattle, the jellies require a tank in which, beyond a certain size, they never touch the walls.

I have been in the propagation area of the Seattle Aquarium, and they do use small tanks for bringing the little floaters up to size, and they're turbulent without being violent. But as they get bigger, they have to go into the perpetual motion tank, which is a toroid you can walk through. These are moon jellies, genus aurelia, I believe, which, outside of the upside down jelly offered by Foster/Smith, seems to be the only species successfully cultivated for public display.
