Anyone know how to pair clowns with a bta?

Anyone know any trick to get the clowns to use the bta as a host? I'm sitting at a 80 gallon tank. What I have done so far is move the bta to where the clowns sleep at night. but nothing happened. so i decided to just stick all of them in a floating basket. it seem like one is just chilling in the bta now. but the other one just swims around it?? anyone with any suggestion?

luck...... some clowns host and some don't. i've heard it could take minutes (as mine did) or years.

so just be patient and thankful that the anemone and clowns are healthy

Time time and more time --- that is all you really can do.

I personally am against putting the clowns and anemone in a confined space --- if the clowns aren't ready to be hosted they very well could become an expensive meal.

Tried the same with confining them to the one side with plexi and they could care less.. also in a rather large net for a couple hours they both were in it the whole time but once released never went back. Also tried pictures on the glass to no avail. only thing that got them to sleep in it at night only was adding a pink skunk.. these were true percs BTW with a GBTA and a Sabae

i think i just suceed, both of them are just sleeping in it right now. all chilling up in it. its been prolly a good 10 hours since i started. but iono what is going to happen once i actually move them back down to bottom where they usually chill. but i'll try ur method ds4x4 if it dont' work out

A bud did a 2 day lights out and when he took the blankets off, they were hosting. That was after 6 months of trying everything he could think of. They are maroons though

Well, I think I ran into some problems. I took them out the basket and the damsel started fighting the clowns and now he's trying to push the anemone away? strange? I think i want to get ride of the yellow damsel i got. he is to aggressive towards his tank mates. i got some pictures and videos below.

this is where i first put the bta, in the middle of the tank.

i put both clowns and bta in this floating basket. just so they can get to kno each other. maybe have a cup of coffee together or something or smoke crack who knows

but there is a problem, when i put the anemone back down, i put it back on top of a yellow damsel territory. he's fighting the clowns now. and he is winning apparently... so do i move the anemone or bring the yellow back to the lfs? i been wanting to trade him in for something more friendly.

i'll upload the video later..
