just read a chapter in a book i decided not to get $$$ at the book store, and it clamed that people have managed to get Hymenocera picta to eat prepared foods reliably
IS THIS TRUE ????
ive seen them take brine shrimp but not reliably anyone else seen such a thing ??
dont recall but it was kinda a beginners reef book, and it was like $30 so I didnt get it. I was a regular breeder of H. picta and still have that part of my setup so IF they are eating prepared foods id consider starting again... at least consider it anyways.
Don't we wish they did. I haven't ever seen it or heard of it. They have a very specific biochemical cue, a set of reactions that must occur for them to be stimulated to feed.
