anyone know where I can buy pickling lime?

Do any of the grocery store chains carry pickling lime regularly, i.e. Mrs. Wages? I'm in the north hills.

I found it at a Shop N Save in Heidelberg/Carnegie a year or so ago. Bought all they had.

I always get mine at Wal-mart, but it is seasonal ie. for canning in the fall.
I haven't looked lately , but you might find it on the clearance shelf.

Yea, you may be hosed this time of year, but I had success in the past finding it at Soergel's Orchards.

I bought it from ebay for a reasonable price.

The Agway in Mars, Butler County.....which is about 20 to 30 minute drive from the North Hills can get it in by the case. You could call and ask if they have it in stock. If not I'm fairly certain they will order it in for you.
