I get mine from Coral Reef pet center in Norridge and all the fish love them. I just keep them with a bit of tap water in the fridge and rinse them out once a day, no issues. If i get 4-5 scoops of them it lasts me over a month.
I'm gonna try some clams if he doesn't take to rods or frozen mysis. I'll know by the weekend! Thanks

Price?
I do a daily rinse, otherwise forget keeping them.
I buy a half pound at a time.

I never had that kind of luck with them, not even close. I may not have been real diligent about the daily rinse (miss a day here and there), but I don't remember them ever staying alive more than a week.
So I picked up a CBB in November, and for the first, three months, he ate nothing frozen or anything I offered.. He picked at the sand all day getting worms, picked at the rock work constantly and always looked fat, never got tiny.
Out of the blue last week he finally came with the group to where I feed and now is an absolute pig. He almost pushes the other over to get mysis... Not sure what made him change his mind, but he's a very happy fish now, even more so.
Not sure if yours is doing any of the worm eating etc (aptasia as well) but if he is, give'em time.
Are the white spots like the ones in this thread - http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1020626
Mine had those exact ones and they got really bad - probably about 10 total all on the back fin and one side of the top fin. But if you read that thread like the one poster said if they are not on the mouth area don't worry. Well I didn't and didn't do anything and within a few days they were gone.
xtlosx - That sounds exactly like mine. And I'm hoping my story ends like yours does too! Mine will occasionally like flinch when I feed. It almost looks like a nervous tick or something like that. Doesn't look like hes eating, but he may be. But he's way fatter than when I bought him and looks good so I'm just holding out hope that one day he eats frozen foods for sure. But for now he seems fat and happy with whatever hes getting off the rocks.
