Anyone recomend a stand manufacture?

Trying to get an idea of what a stand would cost for a custom tank and I am thinking with the cost of shipping I might be able to save a few bucks having someone local make a stand for me.

If you can get down to the south bay, Neptunes has all sorts of tanks and stands in different sizes and configurations.

I know Carlos makes some sick *** stands maybe he might do it. I'd do it but I'm not too talented, live so far and only have a shoebox for a car.

You looking for wood or steel? What's your budget? Is this part of the ghetto build that's gotten out of control?

I know Neptune's has a wood stand guy. He does build nice stands. Not cheap.

Cheapest would be to build the standard 2x4 stand shown many times on RC. Then you could add 'fancy' to it as time/$$ allows.

I would like to stay under $1500 for a finished stand. I think I want to do a peninsula with four side doors and one door on the end.

Have a look at mine when you have time. I did the 2x4 covered "in fancy" route. Lol

Unfortunately I don't have the time, space or tools to do it even if I wanted to attempt it. With that said I wouldn't want to trust a expensive piece of glass on a stand I built.
